Victorian Miser's purse crocheted silk with cut steel metal beads and tassels, mid-to-late 19th century
This is a lovely antique miser's purse, crocheted in green and yellow silk thread with silver colored cut steel beads. The purse has a slit opening in the center with two silver metal ring closures to secure coins in the purse's ends. This purse has a metal tassel attached to each end.
Measurements: approx. 30 cm (11.5 inches) long (with tassels 39 cm(15.1 inches) long).
Weight is 58 grams
The purse is In very good vintage condition, with no stains or holes. There are no visible missing beads that I can see.
